Lice Smart is an
online training and assessment tool
that will help you to manage lice
infestations for your livestock producer
clients. There is a test you must
complete and pass to measure your
competency so you can become accredited.
Those who complete the Lice Smart
course receive a certificate of accreditation.
Lice Smart for
Sheep is an interactive tool that predicts the risk and likelihood of a lice infestation to woolgrowers. By becoming Lice Smart accredited you can perform a Lice Smart risk assessment with your woolgrower clients to assess their individual level of lice risk. Plus, you’re armed with the knowledge to allow your customers to make informed decisions about controlling lice on their property.

Lice Smart for Cattle is an accreditation program that details
the impact lice have on cattle and how to best manage an infestation. By becoming
Lice Smart accredited you can help your cattle producer clients identify the
best time to treat for lice and the best products to use and when to use them.

The Drontal Dog and Cat Parasite section has two elements: a parasite course and the overall parasite program.
The Drontal Dog and Cat Parasite course is an online course that can be done in your own time and covers both internal parasites (endoparasites) and external parasites (ectoparasites). It explores harmful parasites found in dogs and cats, the life cycle of parasites, the signs a dog or cat may show and how to treat and control the parasites. There is an online test consisting of simple multiple choice questions at the end of the course.
By completing the course, this is one
step. The Drontal Dog and Cat program
involves getting accredited – that is,
completing the course and passing the
test, then getting the Drontal Dog and
Cat Parasite Centre and getting promoted.
